The City of Brookhaven has released a draft of its City Zoning Ordinance rewrite. This is a comprehensive document with substantial, significant changes to land development patterns in Brookhaven. Accordingly, the Council for Quality Growth’s analysis of the Zoning Ordinance rewrite has been divided into four sections: Residential Districts; Mixed-Use Districts; Commercial & Employment Districts; and, Overlay Districts.
Please recall that portions of the proposed Zoning Ordinance rewrite incorporate existing Zoning Code regulations previously adopted by City Council, including the Peachtree Road Overlay District and the Peachtree Road-1, 2, and 3 Special Purpose Districts.
The public meeting schedule for this draft ordinance is:
06/27/18 Wednesday 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Briarwood Park Community Center
06/28/18 Thursday 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. City Hall Communications Conference Room
07/19/18 Thursday 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. City Hall Communications Conference Room
07/19/18 Thursday 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Briarwood Park Community Center
