Sam Olens, Georgia’s Attorney General, has been added to the speakers list for the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL August 27 -30. Olens was added to the list on Tuesday, August 7 along with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Texas Republican U.S. Senate Nominee Ted Cruz, Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuño and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
“These five remarkable individuals will bring a diversity of experiences and perspectives to the convention stage in Tampa, where they will voice their support for Governor Mitt Romney. They have each served the public in their own impressive ways, and they all share a dedication to the Republican principles of individual opportunity, responsible government and personal liberty,” convention Chairman Reince Priebus said.
Republican National Convention Chief Executive Officer William Harris said, “We are creating a world-class program of speakers at this convention. Their love for our country and vision for a brighter and more prosperous future will resonate in Tampa and echo across our nation.”
Previously announced speakers include South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Ohio Governor John Kasich, New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, Arizona Senator John McCain, Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Florida Governor Rick Scott, Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, U.S. Senator Rand Paul and Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum.
