The DeKalb BOC is considering several proposed resolutions urging the State legislature to take action on transportation funding. One proposal by Commissioner Jeff Rader is available HERE. The resolution was also approved by the Fulton BOC and incorporates six points that the legislature should consider in order to operate MARTA and provide new funding. Additionally, the County is requesting that the legislature release the restrictions on MARTA that require a 50/50 split between capital expenditures and maintenence and operations.
