Cobb County held a public hearing on October 26th on amendments that will affect license fees on retail sales of spirituous liquors and reinspection. Cobb County incorporated changes into the code amendments based on the feedback they received at the hearings. The amendment was modified to include both inspection and plan review fees and the excise tax on rental motor vehicles (Proposed Section 114) has been withdrawn from consideration. These revised draft code amendments will be considered during a public hearing on November 9, 2010 at 9:00 am.
