Emerging Leaders Initiative Kicks Off 2018 at the Capitol

The Council for Quality Growth’s Emerging Leaders Initiative hosted its first leadership breakfast of 2018 at the Georgia State Capitol on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The more than 40 of the Council’s ELI Members in attendance heard from State Senator Brandon Beach, State Representative Michael Caldwell, State Representative David Clark and State Representative Scott Hilton.  The leadership breakfast speakers focused on their pathways to leadership, guiding principles and aspects of how they make decisions on legislation, and some of their legislative priorities for the 2018 Session.  The Council would like to thank our elected officials who spoke for taking time to meet with the Council’s ELI Members and ensuring the 2018 kick-off  breakfast was a success.

The Emerging Leaders Initiative (“ELI”) was created in 2017 with the mission of educating the next generation of leaders on regional issues and the varying sectors within the growth and development industry. ELI facilitates development of new networks with peer and industry leaders, empowers young professionals to seek leadership positions within their own organizations and with the Council, and maximizes the opportunities provided through Council membership.
