The Council for Quality Growth partnered with the Cumming- Forsyth Chamber of Commerce to co-host the 2015 Forsyth State of the County Address on Thursday, May 7.
Forsyth County Commission Chairman Pete Amos and Forsyth County Board of Education Chairman Darla Light addressed more than 200 guests at the event.
Chairman Amos highlighted many of the county’s successes in public safety, transportation issues, and education issues.
Chairman Light followed Chairman Amos’ address with a presentation detailing the county’s school system successes, including Forsyth County’s rank as number one in the state for highest graduation rate and highest district SAT score.
